Anniversary Brunch

It was my parents' wedding anniversary a few days ago, and we took them out to brunch today to celebrate. I like brunch. You can choose to eat breakfast or lunch...or have a little bit of both. I really do enjoy a good breakfast, so that's what I ordered. A Belgian waffle, to be exact. Normally I can't finish Belgian waffles because I feel full after eating about half of it. But for some reason I was able to actually finish this one. It was topped with warm strawberries, toasted pecans and chantilly cream.

Sometimes I think about buying a waffle maker for home, but I doubt I'd ever use it. I think it'd be too much work to clean it up. I think I'll stick to ordering waffles at restaurants.
